  1. Thanks Tim,
Just a question, in your SCAN set up section, you mentioned that you can only OTC stocks. However your recent trades are mostly Nasdaq stocks. Did you change your strategy and scan set up?
    thanks

  2. Hi Tim. I am a bit confused from the current hot biotech plays. I am talking about NDRM, BCLI, CNOT. They posted positive news, at least NDRM had positive results and BCLI was more of a rumour play because the spike anticipated the tests, but i notice that even though they all have good news people look to short them. Yes, the their financials are not great, but still as i have learnt from Tim's DVDs when news are positive ( not PR or fluff ) i should look to long them. Or maybe people i follow on twitter are short-oriented and feel more comfortable shorting the pullbacks that are caused by profit-taking, or what ?

    1. i don't try to decipher what's fluff and what isn't, i let the chart tell the story. i let the trade come to me, so one we have a BIG runner and momentum is cracking, i go after it. real or not, it's gonna pull

  3. What is the difference between Wedbush and ETC? I plan to switch from Interactive to Centerpoint by the end of this week; I mainly sell short and don't know which is the better choice. Thanks for your help.

  6. When/why do you exit profitable trades Tim, do you have a systematic approach? I can't seem to find an answer to this on your blog.

    1. there's no exact answer to that, sometimes it's because chart is nearing a key level i think it may reverse off of, sometimes i just want to lock gains in

    1. Not really a setup I'm good at, maybe I'll try to learn down the road

  9. Tim,
could you please recommend a setup to learn for a person who can only trade in the afternoons (due to time zone difference)? I know your favorite setup is afternoon breakouts which you described in length on this blog, however they don't seem to happen frequently and you also recently confirmed on twitter that you didn't trade any of these lately...

I have a question concerning Level II and using it to trade NASDAQ stocks. I know the Level II is a great tool to find Tops/Bottoms in OTC trading but what is the difference when trading NASDAQ's??

    Thanks for your help!

    1. Yeah nasdaqs don't work the same way at all unfortunately, right now all i really use it for on nasdaqs is so i can see big bids/asks that are trying to manipulate and try to figure out how to play off of those. for example, a big bid comes in, lots of green prints and buying on the offer, yet sellers keep coming back in. usually i'll short something like that expecting a drop once the bid is pulled or filled
