  1. Hi Tim, I would like to know the catalyst and reasoning for trading FNMA ? Looking back for news would it be to do with Billionaire investor, Bill Ackman and his liking of this stock and his lawsuit against the U.S. government over its treatment of Fannie Mae ?

    1. That news regarding Ackman had actually been out a long time, there was no specific news catalyst to my knowledge. This play was entirely chart-based for me

  3. I noticed in the video you use TOS charts, Das for L2, but placed orders using Sterling. Is there a reason the order was placed in Sterling verses Das or TOS. I'm assuming since you were going long and holding over night TOS would be the cheapest options, but I may be wrong.

Do you have a software that links all those different platforms together or are you switching tickers in every platform if you find a momentum play?

Also whats the reason behind the TOS charts; do you find it better than the other platforms or did you just use it for the video/DVD.

DVD looks great though from that once example. If it's like that and more may be the best yet.

    1. To answer your first question, I don't have funds in ThinkorSwim actually haha. Sterling was my choice because that's where I had the most funds available, although I easily could have also made this trade in Speedtrader, and it probably would have been a bit cheaper too.

I don't have software that links all platforms together, I simply switch it in each manually.

I use TOS charts just because I'm most comfortable with that charting software, especially how it zooms in/out. I used it when I first started trading, and can't get myself to switch!

    4. Thanks Tim! I have already purchased your DVD and can't wait for 1st August. 2 requests -

      1. Unsure if you are still developing the DVD content. In case you are and if you are open to suggestions, can you also cover some of your scaling in and out strategies. Like how to decide when can we scale in, and what triggers scaling out decision and by how much.

      2. Can you put more of listed examples, given that OTCs are pretty much exhausted it seems?!

    5. 1. Unfortunately I'm done with the content, but I believe you will see examples of this in the DVD still!

      2. OTCs are pretty much exhausted for now, but every now and then that market can get nuts, so always good to know how to react!

    1. The level 2 comes from "DAS Trader" which is a platform many brokers provide for a monthly cost (sometimes can be offset by commissions)
